Aurecon makes key appointment to spearhead water, sustainability and climate change practice in Greater China

Hong Kong – International design, engineering and advisory company Aurecon has appointed Vivian Lee as its Executive Director, Water, Sustainability and Climate Change for Greater China to lead its environment and sustainability business in the region.

This strategic appointment aligns with Aurecon’s commitment to support its clients transition to a low carbon energy economy and to build a greener future.

Based in Hong Kong, Vivian has over 25 years of international experience in the environment and sustainability fields. Over the course of her career, Vivian has been deeply involved in numerous sustainability-related projects of various scale and complexity. These include Hong Kong Housing Authority’s Shui Chuen O rainwater harvesting system, Hong Kong Pillar Point Valley Landfill restoration design-and-build, Zhuhai Huafa Shuijun’s constructed wetland conceptual design, Singapore Sports Hub’s water sensitive urban design, Vietnam Danang Banyan Tree Resort’s environmental conceptual design and California San Lorenzo River revitalisation.

Vivian also brings to Aurecon her proven expertise in sustainability strategies and reporting; environmental design, planning and impact assessment; as well as policy and social issues analysis. She will be responsible for leading the growth of Aurecon’s environment and sustainability business in Greater China, especially in water, sustainability and climate change; sharpening Aurecon’s environment business offering with a focus on climate adaptation / resilience and ecological design services for multinational corporation clients and the public sector; developing strong client connections; as well as deepening in-house technical capabilities.
