Bauer Maschinen GmbH has strengthened its presence in the Indian market with a new production, sales and service facility in Pune. Covering approximately 15,000 sq m, the site employs around 100 people and will be integrated into the company’s global production network.

In Pune, Bauer Maschinen combines its international manufacturing processes and development and engineering expertise with local capabilities. The aim is to integrate production, sales and service more closely while providing customers in India and the region with more direct support.

With this new location, Bauer Maschinen is expanding its local sales and service activities in particular. Closer proximity to customers enables faster coordination and enhances support across the entire machine lifecycle.

“India is an important growth market for Bauer Maschinen. With our new facility in Pune, we are expanding our long-term presence in the country,” said Wulf Flos, managing director of Bauer  Maschinen. “Pune will become an integral part of our international production network. At the same time, we are strengthening our local sales and service capabilities to be closer to our customers and provide even more direct support throughout the region.”
