Jaso celebrates 50th anniversary with new lifting solutions at bauma

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Jaso will unveil several new products at bauma. “True to our commitment to innovation and the development of efficient and optimised lifting solutions for the construction, wind energy and industrial markets, we will present our latest novelties,” said the company. These include the J165.8 flat-top tower crane, a new cabin, the GPT27 transport platform and the GP40 mast climbing work platform (MCWP) with an innovative monorail system.

The new Jaso J165.8 tower crane joins the company’s flat-top range. This latest model is designed for intelligent transport and assembly, featuring a maximum load of 8 t and a tip load of 1.92 t. Its boom lengths are between 30 and 60 m, which can be extended in 5-m increments.

The J165.8 has an extremely short counter-jib of 12.9 m, flat counterweights, a freestanding height of 53.10 m with a 1.75-m tower system, and a high-performance mechanism with a maximum speed of 177 m/min (45 kW). This flat-top crane also delivers a low carbon footprint (Eco Mode with low consumption of 31 kVA).

The crane’s design optimises the weight of the components, facilitating quick and efficient assembly even in congested areas. It incorporates advanced technologies such as micro speed, progressive rotation and Smartlink, ensuring efficiency, safety and low environmental impact.

GPT27 and GP40 platforms

As a leader in rack & pinion systems in the wind sector, Jaso also offers construction elevators with a renewed product portfolio, including personnel and material elevators, transport and work platforms, hoists, and tower crane elevators.

At bauma, the company will present its new GPT27 transport platform and GP40 MCWP with a new monorail system.

The GPT27, featuring a maximum load capacity of 2,700 kg, combines cost-effectiveness and robustness, allowing the lifting of material and people quickly to different heights, thus increasing productivity. The unit can accommodate up to seven people and its internal cabin measures 3.2 x 1.5 m.

The GPT27 has a speed of 12 m/min for people and 20 m/min for material. Its maximum height is 200 m (MN65 mast system), and the distance between ties is every 9 m. This transport platform is also equipped with a high-performance mechanism (3 x 5.5 kW).

In addition, Jaso’s new GP40 MCWP is aimed to transform facade cladding operations. The unit’s monorail system facilitates the efficient movement of material and personnel along the building’s vertical extension, optimising the entire cladding process with great precision.

The GP40 is designed to be robust, modular, comfortable and safe. This work platform provides a maximum load capacity of 500 kg, with a maximum track length of 29.56 m for double mast configuration and 10.12 m for single mast. Its maximum height is 350 m (MR50 mast system), and the distance between ties is every 6 m.

Another highlight from Jaso is its new ‘Horizon’ cabin, which is designed for greater operator comfort and visibility. Furthermore, the new Jaso Smartlink is a comprehensive tower crane monitoring system that allows users to gain detailed insights into their tower crane operations.

With Jaso SmartLink, users are able to control inefficient times, ensure the correct use of their tower crane and prevent costly breakdowns. By maximising efficiency, productivity and profit, they can easily manage their tower crane fleet, minimise downtimes and enhance safety.

The Jaso SmartLink also enables users to gain a competitive edge by harnessing the power of data to make informed decisions, reduce operational costs and boost overall performance.
