Caterpillar, Autodesk to join Ground Breakers Stage at Conexpo 2026

Conexpo-Con/Agg has announced that Caterpillar group president of construction industries, Tony Fassino, will be one of the keynote speakers on the event’s new Ground Breakers Stage.

“Every three years, Las Vegas transforms into the epicentre of construction innovation with companies ready to show you what’s next. We are excited to show you what’s ready right now during Conexpo-Con/Agg’s new Ground Breakers Stage series,” said Mr Fassino.

Mr Fassino will take to the Ground Breakers Stage on 4 March at 1 pm, spotlighting how Caterpillar is tackling the industry’s toughest challenges head-on, pushing boundaries and shaping the future for its customers like never before.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Caterpillar to the stage as we advance the conversations around innovation during Conexpo-Con/Agg,” said Dana Wuesthoff, show director at Conexpo-Con/Agg. “Caterpillar’s forward-thinking approach embodies the transformation that drives our industry and helps us all build for the future of tomorrow.”

Another confirmed speaker is Autodesk. The company’s chief sustainability officer, Joe Speicher, and global vice president, product management and engineering – construction, Lalith Subramanian, will take to the Ground Breakers Stage on 4 March at 10 am, sharing insights on the innovation, technological advances and sustainable practices shaping the future of construction.

The Ground Breakers Stage is the perfect platform to share how technology can empower builders to deliver smarter, more sustainable projects at scale.”

Keynotes and presentations on the Ground Breakers Stage will be features of Conexpo-Con/Agg, taking place from 3 to 7 March 2026. They will complement robust educational programming and more than 2,000 exhibitors across the 2.9 mil sq ft of exhibit space. Other speakers include Amazon Web Services (AWS) and John Deere, as previously announced.
