Volvo CE’s dealer CHAB opens new facility in Bangkok

Volvo Construction Equipment’s (Volvo CE) dealer in Thailand, Chairatchakarn Bangkok (CHAB), marked a major milestone in October with the grand opening of its new facility in Rama II, Bangkok. This expansion further enhances CHAB’s existing network and its ability to support customers across Thailand, particularly those in the central region and the capital.

To celebrate the opening, CHAB also hosted a roadshow featuring Volvo’s New Generation excavators, which were launched earlier this year. More than 70 guests attended the event, including key customers from Central Thailand.

The New Generation EC210 and EC360 machines were among the display, alongside the EW145B Prime. Several deals were confirmed during the event, including the first EC360 sales in the Thai market, an important milestone for Volvo CE’s newest heavy-duty excavator in the country.

Buoyed by the positive customer response and growing demand for the EC360, CHAB has since placed an additional order for three more units of the EC360 to support mining and quarry operations in Thailand.

“The new Rama II branch represents our commitment to providing stronger, faster and more accessible support for our customers in the central region,” said Nunnapin Petcharapirat, CEO of CHAB. “With this expansion and the introduction of Volvo CE’s New Generation excavators, we are confident in our ability to help customers elevate their productivity and efficiency.”

Raven Chua, head of market west at Volvo CE, added, “CHAB is an exceptional partner for Volvo CE in Thailand, and their new Rama II facility is another strong step forward in delivering premium support to customers. We are excited to see the enthusiastic response to our New Generation excavators and look forward to building on this momentum together.”
