Camero-Tech, a leader and pioneer in developing pulse-based UWB micro-power radar ‘Through Wall Imaging’ systems, presents its Long-Range radar system, the Xaver™ LR40 at LAAD Defense & Security Expo, Brazil, between April 11-14. This would be the first time that Camero-Tech will showcase the LR40 in Latin America. LAAD is the largest and most important Defense and Security Trade Show in Latin America on all fronts: Navy, Army, Air Force, Public, and Corporate Security.
The event will be a great opportunity to present the breakthrough operational advantage of the LR40 to special forces and law enforcement teams in urban and rural operations that require reliable information regarding hidden live objects and to ensure successful life-saving missions in hostile environments, to official delegations and qualified visitors from Defense and Security Authorities from Brazil, Latin America, and other countries that are expected to attend the event.
Penetrating through walls from a remote location in a distance of more than 50 meters, the Xaver™ LR40 creates an unprecedented real-time situational awareness picture of the presence of people beyond the wall, their number, their exact distance, and their direction of movement. The system is also highly sensitive for detecting unseen micro-movements of static live objects. Being able to achieve these capabilities and high sensitivity, the XaverTM LR40 is a game changer in various operational scenarios.
Controlled by a Tablet with a simple user interface for intuitive interpretation, the Xaver™ LR40 features integrated data recording and playback for post-mission analysis, training, and debriefing. A dedicated sight is used for accurately directing the narrow beam of the system to the target. The system can be operated by a single user, and it is ready for use with a push of a button.
“We are excited to present the only ‘Sense-Through-The-Wall’’ radar that can detect live objects from long distances in the leading Latin American Defence and Security Exhibition. Providing the user with real-time situational awareness while staying safe at more than 50 meters away from the target, the Xaver™ LR40 system allows a special force or tactical surveillance team to observe a target for hours or days without being detected,” says Amir Beeri, CEO of Camero.
Camero’s Long-Range family also includes the Xaver™ LR80, which enables a detection of live objects from distances of more than 100 meters.
The Xaver™ LR40 is completely radiation safe by meeting international standards for human exposure.
