Situated in the basement of what is said to be an exquisite residential building in one of Beijing’s most exclusive quarters, 55TEC complex, measuring 5000 sq ft was structured to display the most sophisticated recording requirements.

Both the Studio A Control Room (430 sq ft) and Live Room (500 sq ft) have been precisely engineered to provide superlative listening and recording environments. Mastering/Post Studio B’s 230 sq ft CR and 150 sq ft ISO room meet the same exacting acoustical standards.

WSDG Partner/Director of Design, Renato Cipriano was responsible for the final room calibration. And, WSDG Partner/Art Director, Silvia Molho coordinated the interior design.

“We are honored to have this important new studio nominated for a NAMM TEC Award,” stated WSDG Partner, Sergio Molho. “It is our industry’s most prized recognition. We are also pleased to see 55TEC making a meaningful contribution to China’s recording scene. And, we congratulate our Beijing representative Víctor Cañellas, for this project and his three newest assignments, The Beijing Film Academy, The Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou and The Yun Residence, a 21st Century Acquisition Analysis Laboratory in Shanghai.” Molho concludes.

The 33rd NAMM TEC Award will be presented on January 20, 2018, in Anaheim, California during the NAMM Show.
